For the upcoming seasons winter 2011 / spring / summer 2012.
I get my inspiration from the Fashion and Beauty in the 40's .
Its very classic, elegant and unique ......i was'nt born at the time but i did watch the old movies and did some research concern these looks.
My next photoshoot will have a lot of influences from the 40's

The way woman and men carry themself back in those days is so amazing accept that the hair and make-up is nice it is also about the environment . Either you love it or you don't

On September 30th Vrij and Riddim Up will be hosting the First annual Miss Riddim Up Competition.
We are not looking for a beauty or Dancehall queen, we are looking for the whole package , a Dancehall Diva to represent for the Brand Riddim up and Yasmin Rose Studio’s for the coming year 2012

The competition will take place during the Upcoming monthly edition of Vrij meets Riddim Up in The Hague on September 30th and will feature the final 4 contestants who made the cut .

With the Crown of Miss Riddim Up 2011, the winner will be featured on the next Riddim Up – event flyer , Mixtape cover as well as represent Riddim Up during events and in Music Video’s. Next too al the above these, the winner will also receive a Professional Photoshoot by Yasmin Rose Photography for a Riddim Up Modeling portfolio, and a free dance workshop by DTD the winner receive also on top of that a Riddim Up publicity kit by Crafty PR. A complete package to take properly represent Riddim Up and possibly take on a new career within the Dancehall scene.

The competition on September 30th will consist of 3 rounds where the 4 contestants will compete in Swimsuit, Dance and Club outfit. The ultimate winner should be able to rock a swimsuit, move like a Dancehall Queen and rock a freekum dress in the club.
Candidates have until September 16th to register for the competition.

Me, Myself and I

Back Again !!! September was a very busy strange but nice month some of my dreams came true and i achieve another goal in my crazy life !!! Like yall know already i love being a model and that Fashion is my true passion.
I am proud to announce that i am the Official Hostess Ajax Arena Amsterdam : its all about provide the right service at the business level and help. concerns, business partners, directors, sponsors, press and guests guests....... Its a higher level and i am very thankfull that i have the chance to devellop myself even more....i already did diffrent projects this year like being the Face of the latest parfume from Marc Jacobs and Hyundai but also MCI in Rotterdam and now i am in the world of Football witch combine perfect with the world of Fashion.
Ofourse i have plenty more ambitions and goals to achieve and with God by my side anything is possible so stay tuned !

Brown Skin Care !

Last year I dedicated an article concern this issue.
The first impression people get too see is your skin, the skin covers our whole body.
Too take care of our skin is a must , from the age of 25 the skin produces only the half of new skin cells this means our skin is getting thinner by the time we become older.
Unfortunately we can not stop this process, but we can definitely do something about it.

It’s a common knowledge that we must protect our skin from the sun.
Specially light and brown skin must be protected as well as the white skin !
My favorite product is the cream of Lancaster Factor 30 suitable for every skin type.
You can apply this product on the skin day or night.
Besides following a healthy lifestyle ! What else can brown skin people do to maintain touchable soft skin ? The answer MOISTURIZERS are a must for the light and darker skin.
Darker skin with all respect has a tendency to appear ashy when its not well lubricated !
To use a cream or lotion definitely are options to take care of a ashy looking skin.


But Sun creams , Vaseline or a good body butter are very moisturizing and makes the skin feel very soft and look shiny !
Too use a good body scrub once a month removes all the dead skin cells. Look for biologic salt or sugar body scrub also available at natural stores.
The end result after using a body scrub is a good and healthy looking skin.

TIP: Before to choose a cream too use and to buy always identify the type of skin you have.

Make - Up V.S. Fashion !

Make up - versus Fashion the perfect combination!
For the next season there are diffrent looks that you can create in ten minutes ! For example the sexy summer wet look, all you need is wet hair and a little bit of make-up a little blush on the cheeks and a nice black eye-lainer for the eye's and a little bit of natural lipstick or lipgloss !

Second look is a nice evening glamour look !!! You can create this look with a little bit of Gold or silver Glitter arround the eye's or you can make a nice dark Brown smokey eye ,how too create this look ? First put a nice black eye lainer arround the eye's then a little bit of dark Brown eye shadow on the arcade arch and for the finishing touch you mix Gold with Beige on the eye lid !

My Favorite look is the Sexy Red look.
This Look is all about the Red hot sexy Lips :)!
Make sure you keep your eye shadow natural, because with this look its all about the red hot and sexy Lips !!! Before you put the red lipstick on the lips colour your lips first with orange or red liplainer for an amazing result .

Ofcourse when your Make - Up is done you have to combine the make - up with a nice outfit. In the Fashion Industry they say that CURVY is the new trend, but not every brand agree with this statement . Brands like Dolce & Cabbana , Armani and Prada still not agree that curvy is sexy anyway in America they think diffrent about this brands like , Babyphat, Rockawear and Apple Bottoms do think that Curvy is sexy.
Bright Coulors are hot this year and in 2012 .....colours like hot Pink, Sunshine Yellow, Strawberry Red and Green are definitely a must for the summer season.
Also the long dress is very comfortable and feminine too wear and it looks good on every woman !

Let's talk about hair !

For the ladies with the Curls and ( black or mixed hair ) its very important after you dye your hair too use a good conditioner and olive oil at the same time its good for the hair and keeps the hair shiny and healthy , mix both the conditioner and oil in your hand palm and rub it carfully in the hair do that two times a week specialy when you washed the hair !
I did some personal research and came too the conclusion that one of the best conditioners and oils are coming from the Domenican Republic.
Its definitely worth trying !!!

New Trends

D&G is famous for its beautiful animal prints in all shapes and sizes. Another populair trend for Spring / Summer 2011 is the ( Flower print ) Designers such as Kenzo, Chanel, Fendi, D&G and John Galliano showed their dresses, skirts and accessories on the catwalk.

( My personal favorite trend specialy the colours, Midnight Blue, Gold and Silver but also Red and Beige are very substantial, decent and elegant i love too combine a dress or top with a nice Silver or Dark Brown handbag or Clutch.
